Homestead

The original Cape Dutch homestead was built in 1803. In 1993 Bellevue’s current owner and fourth generation Morkel living in the house, restored it to the original style, with the help of restoration specialists, Gawie and Gwen Fagan. The Cape Dutch house was consequently declared a National Monument.
